Over the past few years or so this global warming thing has been going about amongst those of the scientific community. It has slowly worked it's way into the mainstream to the point that just about every company and person is doing something to "green their routine".
Not everyone has met the news of a potential world-threatening menace with full on belief. There are those who completely reject the idea that the safety of Earth and all her people are in jeopardy. They (most anyways) argue that scientists are full of it, and that we need not worry about anything, and that we should go about our daily lives without changing anything.
This confuses me. Essentially many of the global warming naysayers are arguing against taking care of Earth. Whether global warming exists or not, shouldn't we be taking care of our planet? It's the only one we've got (so far, scientists are also working on finding other planets suitable for human life), so we should treat it as best we can right? It shouldn't matter if the planet truly is in danger or not, it's our responsibility to care for the planet that sustains our lives as we know them.
Anyways, hopefully people will get over whatever they believe and just pull together to help Earth. Thank you for your time, and have a wondrous day!
